In honor of our VIP guests we have what is called the MHSG Loyalty Program. You are automatically added when you come into the salon for the first time but the benefits greatly increase as you become more dedicated to the salon. Celebrity Stylists in Your Town: A Word from the Owner!!!  

North America Stylist of the Year, Skills U.S.A Makeup Artist of the Year, Salon Design, and Loudoun County salon and Hairdresser of the Year, and that’s just to name a few. Michael has a higher quality and expectation from all her staff. Having worked with the best stylists in the world and actually educating many of them she wanted to bring that quality where there was none. I heard it all the time from stylists and clients alike…..There are no good salons out here. Now I’m not putting anyone down I just think education is key. We train every week, we do shows, events and even a few celebrities. In the salon you might find a mannequin head being worked on, or an apprentice being walked through a haircut. You not only get one stylist you get a team, we work together to create looks not just a haircut! It’s important to us also that you learn how to do it at home and maintain it, after all your walking around with our name on your head!

Congratulations to Ashley for graduating to junior stylist. Ashley has trained for two years under Michael Helene herself. Ashley has gone through all her basic classic plus more classes that most hairdressers do in 10 years during her apprenticeship. She is starting in the floor today and will be building her book under Michael’s supervision. Call today to make an appt. Front Desk Coordinator

Amanda is  a new front desk coordinator who has a friendly demeanor and builds strong relationships with clients who enjoy her bubbly and warm personality. She grew up in Massachusetts in a big Italian family but moved to Virginia at a young age. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music and taking long walks – especially on the beach. Amanda looks forward to becoming an apprentice and learning more about hair artistry and cosmetology. She is  excited to be part of the Michael Helene Salon Gallery Team!
